On the one hand, you love seeing the Chicago Bears being ahead of the Green Bay Packers in the NFL standings for a second consecutive week. But on the other hand, the Packers are far too close to first place for my liking. You know Aaron Rodgers would love nothing more than to come into Chicago with an injury, quarterback the Steelers to a victory against the Bears in what might be his last game ever at Soldier Field, and help the Packers in the process. With that being said, Bears fans would love nothing more than to witness Rodgers experience the same fate Brett Favre did at the end of his Vikings run.

For what it’s worth, Chicago’s football team plays five games against teams currently in playoff spots from here on out. That includes two games against Green Bay and one against San Francisco in December, but does not include a Week 18 showdown against a Lions team currently on the outside looking in at the playoff picture.
