Only a week has gone by on-island on Survivor 51, yet it feels like an entire season’s worth of gameplay. The “open era” has kept fans fed through its first three weeks, from live Tribal Councils to never-before-seen twists to one of the most unconventional quits in the show’s history. But the continuously shaken-up game of this season got another jostle tonight in the form of a tribe swap. The big tribes have split off into the now-familiar groups of five or six people. And, while it gave some people new opportunities, some found themselves suddenly in the line of fire, leading to their own fire getting snuffed out. Here’s our spoiler-filled recap of tonight’s episode of Survivor 51, including who went home.

Who got voted off on Survivor 51 tonight?
Jenna Doore
Jenna Doore on ‘Survivor 51’Robert Voets/CBS
Wedding photographer Jenna Doore was under quite the magnifying lens from the first day of Survivor 51. Admittedly in an emotional place due to her divorce, she didn’t make the first impression with Toka, coming across as reserved and even being accused of possibly lying about her job. When she was tipped off that she was in danger, though, Jenna went to work and used a comment Aaliyah Puglia made about Brady Booker to put the heat on the chef. So, while Jenna did receive votes from Devin Way and Angelia “Jelly” Loblack that night, and played her Shot in the Dark, she easily survived. The tribe swap gave her a second chance at a first impression — to a certain extent. The good news: Even though the tribe size was cut in half, Jenna’s former Toka tribe still had the majority. The bad news: The other two people she swapped with were Devin and Jelly. Not only was the twosome looking to finally capitalize on their chance to get rid of Jenna, they were also working with Ori Jean-Charles on the down-low, who wanted Jenna gone. And so, despite the Toka majority, they were able to do what they weren’t back on Day 3, landing their shot on a devastated Jenna.
Were any idols or advantages found or played on Survivor 51 tonight?
No! There was so much going on as a result of the tribe swap (see below) that no new idols or advantages were introduced in this episode. But, considering the preview for the next episode, we’re going to spend the next week wondering what the heck a “Blood Ring” is!Related: ‘Survivor 51’s Patt Cannaday Reacts to Kilby’s ‘Unhinged’ Gameplay — And Reveals Who Betrayed Her the Most (Exclusive)
What are the new tribes on Survivor 51?
For the ninth time in Survivor history, two tribes were swapped into three. Due to Rob Antonson’s quit, one group was left with only five members from the random draw. And the newest group, the red Dina tribe, had to start over at a brand-new camp with nothing. Here’s how the tribe swap shook out:
New Savu Tribe
Alexis Levine
Devin Way
Angelica “Jelly” Loblack
Jenna Doore
Ori Jean-Charles
While this tribe is the smallest, it also has the most complicated web of relationships. There are the old tribe lines, in which the former Tokas in Devin, Jelly, and Jenna outnumber the former Savus in Alexis and Ori. But there’s also the Day 1 “helicopter” alliance, which includes Devin, Jelly and Ori, which took precedence at the vote in this episode. From an advantage perspective, Jelly has an idol, while Devin has an Extra Vote.
New Toka Tribe
Brady Booker
Carter Krull
Kristin Flickinger
Maggie Nestor
Mike Pinsky
An “Thien An” Nguyen
On paper, if this tribe were to ever go to Tribal Council, it should be an open-and-shut vote for Kristin Flickinger. After Carter Krull mutinied to the other beach last week, she’s the only full-blooded Savu finding herself sleeping with the enemy. But the last vote before the swap fractured things significantly, with Carter, Maggie Nestor and An “Thien An” Nguyen blindsiding Brady and Mike Pinsky. In fact, Maggie and Thien An spent this episode talking about how they want to get rid of Mike ASAP, worried his flexibile gameplay will have him jumping at the merge.
New Dina Tribe
Cristian Chavez
Eric Macksoud
Danny “Kilby” Kilby
Lewis Kelly
Linnea Capobianco
Sharonda Cox
After gathering together a majority to narrowly survive last vote, Danny Kilby finds himself on the outside once more. To avoid being “swap screwed,” he immediately goes to work on the new beach, ingratiating himself to fellow excitable nerd Eric Macksoud. Immediately smitten, Eric has already vocalized how he wants to turn the target on the other former Toka in Lewis Kelly. But the newfound “bromance” has immediately pinged on everyone else’s radar, making the former Savus quite leery.
