‘Chicago Fire’ Sets Up Trouble for Stellaride as Severide Feels the Heat — And Probies Continue to Cause Problems ...Saudi Arabia

News by : (Parade) -

The Chicago Fire Season 15 premiere brought much-needed answers, making it clear that death isn’t the only outcome for firefighters on a call. There was a lot to take on with Cruz learning that he may never be a firefighter again, Severide becoming Captain at Firehouse 51, and the new probies joining the family.

Now it’s time to delve into the next episode, and it looks like things are about to get worse before they can get better. We break down the events of Chicago Fire Season 15 Episode 2, titled “Rattle the Cage.”

What Happened in the ‘Chicago Fire’ Season 15 Premiere?

In “New Blood,” viewers got answers to their burning questions after the Season 14 finale. Cruz had been paralyzed, and while there is a slim chance that he may be able to walk again, the MRI scans showed that he will likely never return to his firefighting duties.

Meanwhile, Severide took over as Captain, while Kidd got the opportunity to becoming a training officer. That means more probies are at Firehouse 51, and they all have something to prove.

For the rest of Firehouse 51, they’re just trying to move forward after the events of the fire. Chief Pascal is no longer around, Vasquez chose firefighting over being a cop, and there are a few tensions between Vasquez and Novak, since it’s clear he decided not to start a relationship with her.

What Happens on the New Episode of ‘Chicago Fire’?

In “Rattle the Cage,” the Oct. 14 episode of Chicago Fire, cracks in Stellaride’s armor will start to show. They didn’t want Severide’s promotion to affect them, but with Severide feeling the pressure from the top, he has to say no to Kidd’s requests at times. It looks like she may be pushing for a yes, and that leads to him snapping at her.

Can the two survive this transition? It’s hard to tell, especially considering Kidd also has pressure from above. Her probies aren’t fitting in all that well, with one of the newbies attacking Vasquez in the locker room.

While all that goes on, Novak and Violet will get some focus. They come across a mental health facility that has some red flags. As strong supporters of mental health, they’re sure to look into the facility more to see what’s really going on.
