WATERLOO, Iowa (KCRG) – It may be February in Iowa, but the warmer temperatures are allowing spring activities to start early. The City of Waterloo has announced that Gates Park, Irv Warreen, and South Hills golf courses are set to open Saturday, February 24th, at 11:00 am (or as soon as the frost lifts). Officials say the courses will remain open for the 2024 season as the weather and course conditions allow.
