Colorado State added three basketball players to its 2024 class on Wednesday, the university announced. Darnez Slater, Jaden Steppe and Kyle Jorgensen all signed their letters of intent to play for the Rams next season. Slater is a 6-foot-3 guard from Roosevelt High School in Eastvale, Calif. He averaged 19.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game last season and chose CSU over several schools, including a couple from the Mountain West Conference. Steppe is a 6-8 forward from Tualatin, Ore. He is rated as a four-star recruit by ESPN out of Tualatin High School.
