Bellingham’s market value, as reported by Transfermarkt, is around €40.00m (£33.40m), close to the highest of his career.
That is €9.5m (£7.9m) above the €30.5m (£25.5m) Dortmund paid for him, a rise of about 31%.

Bellingham is a central midfielder who can play as a holding midfielder or a box-to-box number eight.
His height is matched by his mobility, and he covers a lot of ground, which suits Dortmund’s pressing.

It also notes that he likes to shoot from a distance, and when playing as a holding midfielder, he does well at intercepting passes and going into tackles.
In Tuchel’s England squad, he will compete with Declan Rice, Elliot Anderson, Myles Lewis-Skelly and James Garner.
His size, pressing and passing give him a clear case as a squad option, but his playing time is likely to depend on Tuchel.
