How does Next Level Baker work?
On Next Level Baker, the bakers will be challenged to bake up some eye-popping holiday treats. The series will take place over the three-level kitchen created for Next Level Chef, which has been transformed into a winter wonderland to capture the holiday spirit for the bakeoff, so there will be bakers in the basement level where the equipment leaves a lot to be desired; the middle level, which is an average kitchen; and then the top level, which is state-of-the-art.
This season, each team — red, green or blue — has one of each “category” of baker: professional, social media, or home baker. A mentor is then assigned to each team with one of each “category” of baker on their team. The mentor assignment will be revealed in the first episode.
