The Aurora Police Department posted on Facebook at 3:01 p.m. that police and firefighters were on the scene of a collision near East Galena Boulevard and North Spencer Street. Galena Boulevard was closed from Spencer Street to Union Street while emergency crews worked to clear the roadway.
Police warned the closure could be extended and urged drivers to take alternate routes.
