In JAN 2027, Australia is scheduled to come to India for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy; and the preps for that begin in September, as Cricket Australia will send AUS A and the U19 team for a series here. Series to begin in September
In fact, the series also involves the women’s fixtures as well. As per a release by the BCCI, “India A (Men) will face Australia A in a series featuring two multi-day matches and three one-day games, all scheduled to be played in Puducherry between September and October 2026.”
“The India U19 Men’s team will host Australia U19 for a five-match tour comprising three one-day matches in Rajkot, followed by two multi-day fixtures in Rajkot and Ahmedabad, respectively.” Then moving to the women’s section, India A women will host AUS A women in September as well, in a multi-format series — including 3 T20s, 3 one-dayers, and 1 multi-day fixture, across Mohali and Dharamsala.
In fact, there are more matches lined up for the Women’s A side. Post the Australia A matches, India A women take on counterparts from England, in a multi-format series in Pune & Navi Mumbai.
