We need Phil Weiser
I am still scratching my head. Why did Bennet jump in the race? Two more years to go in the Senate — and Bennet has decided that he wants another job. Huh? We elected you for six years. It would have been a non-issue if we did not have an amazing candidate for governor.
Attorney General Phil Weiser is (without question) the most qualified person to be governor. And then Bennet decides to do this after Phil announces. Why? The National Dem Party is backing him. And frankly Bennet does not have the executive experience (maybe being Hickenlooper’s chief of staff while mayor).
I am tired of Washington picking our candidates — Bennet needs to stay in the senate. We need a fighter. We need Phil Weiser.

Rep. Gabe Evans please protect Coloradans’ health care
Having good health insurance is vital for the overall health and well-being of Coloradans. I would know because I watched one of my close friends battle cancer. Comprehensive, affordable health insurance means being able to get annual checkups and cancer screenings, or treatments like chemotherapy, radiation, prescriptions. Furthermore, being insured means receiving the follow-up care needed for life as a cancer survivor. It can mean the difference between life and death.
Congress needs to extend the enhanced health-care tax credits that make health insurance affordable for hundreds of thousands of Coloradans who access their coverage through Connect for Health Colorado. If these tax credits expire at the end of 2025 as they’re currently set to do, individuals who right now rely on these credits to be able to afford health insurance will likely lose their coverage and with it their access to the health care they need. We know how devastating allowing these tax credits to expire would be for cancer patients in active treatment and we can’t let it happen.
With open enrollment underway, Coloradans are seeing premium spikes for next year’s plans. That’s why, as a volunteer with the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), I’m urging Rep. Gabe Evans to work with his fellow members of Congress to extend these tax credits before it’s too late.
