There is obviously so much about the 2016 Chicago Cubs championship team that stands out in memory, and, for that reason, I’ve loved the nostalgia ride of this ten-year anniversary.
But one of my favorite memories from that time is actually not something I specifically associate with 2016. It was more of a sense of the building process and lead-up to 2016 (which was literally true chronologically, but also just true in how it felt).
One word: Bryzzo.
