Mike Myers has confirmed there are plans to make a fourth Austin Powers movie – just one day after the comic actor reprised his iconic role as Dr Evil in a new advert.
Myers was asked about the possibility of a new film during an appearance on Trevor Noah’s World Cup Watch Party and responded simply "yes" without going into any further details.
He's long made it clear that he'd be open to returning with another entry in the spoof spy franchise, and it's still unclear if any concrete plans are in place – but this certainly seems like a positive development for fans.
As recently as 2022, Myers had said he "would love" to do another film, while the original trilogy's director Jay Roach indicated he would be interested in making a follow-up in 2020.
The James Bond parody first launched with Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery in 1997 with sequel The Spy Who Shagged Me following two years later and the third – and so far final – entry Goldmember arriving in 2002.

Myers was joined by co-stars Seth Green, Rob Lowe and Mindy Sterling for the aforementioned new advert for phone company Verizon, which saw Dr Evil cooking up a new scheme.
His goal was to create a company called Menace Mobile, with the most confusing plans and pricing of all time – only for his team to reveal they have already switched to a new Verizon plan.
Meanwhile, Myers was also heard reprising another of his most famous roles yesterday – thanks to the launch of a new trailer for the upcoming Shrek 5.
