Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Virat Kohli has urged his teammates to give their 120% for the team in IPL 2026 and also warned them against slacking. RCB and Kohli ended their 18-year-wait as they finally lifted to IPL trophy in 2025 after beating PBKS in the final. Virat, who has been with RCB since his IPL debut, delivered a strong pep talk to the rest of teammates as the side begin preparation for IPL 2026.
‘Going to ge tougher’
In a video shared by RCB on social media platforms, Kohli is seen addressing his teammates in a pep talk, where he asks them to ‘switch on’ right away. The ex-RCB captain warned that teams will come harder at the side after their IPL 2025 win and that it will get tougher. RCB will commence their IPL 2026 campaign by taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their tournament opener on March 28.
“We do not waste these days. We stay ahead. So switch on now. Let’s not waste even a minute of any session we are a part of. We must give our 120% in these two and a half months,” Kohli said.
