Reports claim that the incident between Dando and the fan was posted on a website called the Underground Bunker. The fan details how she and the singer exchanged messages years ago through Twitter (now known as X). It all began when she sent him a congratulatory DM after the release of The Lemonheads' latest album, that released in October 2025, titled Love Chant.
Dando has responded to the fan's message and began a conversation with her that went on into late-night DMs. The fan then details how Dando had sent her a sexual video of himself masturbating. According to details on the website, a reader had reached out for help from the site when his wife had received the video from Dando.
