Sahith Theegala, Joel Dahmen and Charley Hoffman received sponsor exemptions to play in the 2026 WM Phoenix Open, tournament chairman Jason Eisenberg announced Friday.
“The WM Phoenix Open is built on elite competition, personality and energy, and this group embodies all three,” Eisenberg said in the announcement.
“Sahith’s history at this tournament speaks for itself, Joel is one of the Tour’s most popular and authentic competitors, and Charley’s long-standing connection to both WM and this event makes this a special group to welcome back to TPC Scottsdale.”

Theegala will make his fifth appearance at the WM Phoenix Open. He also received a sponsor exemption at the 2022 WM Phoenix Open, where he finished tied for third place.
This is the eighth time Dahmen will play at the WM Phoenix Open. He missed the cut last year and has finished as high as tied for 41st in 2024.
A 26-year PGA Tour veteran, Hoffman will be playing in the WM Phoenix Open for the 20th time. His best finish came in 2024, when he finished as a runner-up to Nick Taylor after a playoff.
The 2026 WM Phoenix Open will take place Feb. 2-8, with Thomas Detry as the defending champion.
While Detry will not be back to defend his crown after joining LIV Golf in January, the previous decade’s worth of champions will be back at TPC Scottsdale. The full field was released on Tuesday.
Fans can purchase general admission tickets online. The Annexus Pro-Am is on Feb. 4, and the tournament begins on Feb. 5.
