IT’S no secret that LEGO sets don’t come cheap, so LEGO’s Black Friday deals can be the best chance to get the set you’ve been eyeing up all year.
It’s the moment to finally add that coveted Millennium Falcon to your collection or snag a retiring set before it’s gone forever — at Sun Shopping, we’ve got our fingers crossed for discounts on the popular Botanicals line.
The sale is also an excellent opportunity to get a gift for a loved one at a reduced price — after all, Christmas falls less than a month after Black Friday.
If you have a LEGO fan in your house, you’ll want to keep an eye on this page as we’ll be updating it with the latest deals as they’re announced.
When is Black Friday 2025?
Black Friday 2025 is scheduled for November 28th.
The date is determined by the American Thanksgiving holiday, which always falls on the fourth Thursday of November.
As a result, Black Friday is consistently the fourth Friday of the month.
While the name suggests a single day, the reality is a prolonged period of sales.
Retailers often begin their Black Friday promotions early and extend them through the weekend, leading right into Cyber Monday for online-only deals.
In the last few years, we’ve seen some sales launches as early as October.
Always do your research before buying, to be sure you’ve found the best Black Friday deals available.
Keep an eye on our Black Friday coverage as we will be updating deals info regularly in the run-up to the big day.
Is LEGO taking part in Black Friday this year?
LEGO more or less confirmed its participation in this year’s Black Friday deals at the end of its 2024 sale.
When announcing the end of the sale on its website, it published a message saying: “We’ll see you next year with more great offers and gifts with purchase”.
Many LEGO superfans were disappointed in last year’s deals, with many accusing it of being nothing more than a “clearance bin”.
Many also experienced issues getting onto the online store, with several customers reporting being bumped into virtual queues to access the site.
Thankfully, LEGO is widely available in other stores, so it’s a good idea to keep your eye on sales at Argos, Very, John Lewis and Amazon.
What to expect from the LEGO Black Friday sale 2025
SOPA Images/LightRocket via Gett SHOP LEGO OFFERSAlthough it does run discounts, LEGO is perhaps better-known for its Black Friday “GWP” (Gift With Purchase) deals.
They encourage shoppers to spend big, the value of the gifts going up in tandem with the size of a purchase.
We’re pretty sure we’ll see the return of these deals for 2025.
While the contents of the sale are anyone’s guess, we’d hope to see Blockbuster sets discounted last year, after LEGO faced criticism last year for “clearing out unpopular sets”.
It’d be nice to see some discounts across its newer and more popular sets, like the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean sets and its Star Wars, Marvel and Harry Potter lines.
However, inevitably, expect to see some deals on soon-to-be retired sets; ones due to exit circulation this year include:
Darth Vader Helmet X-Wing Starfighter Motorised Lighthouse Marvel Infinity Gauntlet Marvel Daily Bugle Harry Potter Diagon Alley Lamborghini SiánIf last year is anything to go by, there’ll be an air of chaos to the sale — expect popular sets to sell out quickly.
And because LEGO only tends to run its deals for a few days, its website will experience some strain — don’t be surprised to experience a few issues getting onto the online store.
If you really want to make sure you can get your hands on the best deals, it might be worth signing up to LEGO’s Insiders programme, which gains you early access to new sets and sales.
Of course, you’ll also be able to find deals at other retailers, including Amazon, Very and Argos.
