Appearing on a recent installment of Mythical Kitchen’s Last Meals, the best-selling pop band discussed some of their personal favorite dishes that they'd like consume as their final meal on Earth, including a discontinued McDonald's item sold in a select number of regions.
While curating a three-course meal for his siblings, middle brother Joe selected a McDonald's steak and egg burrito, a regional specialty the Jo-Bros used to enjoy upon their childhood visits to Arizona.
Upon seeing the burrito on the table, the other two Jonas Brothers reacted with obvious glee, with youngest brother Nick asking, "How did you [get this]?" while oldest brother Kevin remarked, "This is so cool."
"I know we're filming this, but I'm going to take a picture," Joe said, snapping a pic of the steak and egg burrito on his phone. "The family group text is going to go off today."
As Last Meals host Josh Scherer told the musicians, the rare McDonald's dish –which was originally sold in Arizona and a select number of areas in California, New York and New Jersey – was recreated by Mythical Chef's cooking team, as the item has long since been removed from most McDonald's locations.
According to Joe, the brothers specifically related the burrito to the visits they often made to their grandparents' house in Arizona. As per the pop musician, their grandfather would occasionally sneak off with the boys to the nearest McDonald's for breakfast, where they'd order the steak and egg burrito before returning to a fully prepared breakfast made by their grandmother.
"We'd come back so full," Joe said. "And she'd say, 'Breakfast is ready.'
"And she was [like], 'No. Jerry, where did you take them?' And he was like, 'Nowhere.' So I'm so excited to try this," the musician continued before taking a massive bite of the burrito.
