Below are the combined top results from the first day of action.
Wednesday’s finals sessions included the 200 free, 100 breast, 200 fly, women’s 800 free, men’s 1500 free, and the 200 free relay.
Note: Distance events were run as their own session.
Event 1: Women’s 200 Freestyle

Rylee Erisman dominated the 200 free in Ocala, winning by over four seconds, simultaneously swimming the top time across all five meets in 1:57.44

Maximus Gotettsch dropped over four and a half seconds from his prelims swim of 1:53.45 to be the only swimmer across all 2025 Futures Championships to swim a finals time under 1:50.

The Madison Futures would host the top two finishers overall in the women’s 100 breast with 15-year-old Grace Koenig-Song topping the final standings at 1:09.14.

The top three finishers in the men’s 100 breast came in the form of the podium finishers in Greensboro, with Eli Martin (1:00.23), Jorge Murillo (1:01.02), and Jake Wang (1:01.40) rounding out the combined top three.

Audrey Derivaux would not be denied in the women’s 200 fly, taking the win in Greensboro by over five seconds, finishing as the top performer out of the five meets.

After turning in the only sub-2:00 performance at Ocala Futures, Logan Robinson would be responsible for the fastest performance in the event over the five host locations.
Event 7: Women’s 200 Medley Relay

Both the A and B teams for the Bolles School Sharks swam top 8 overall times at the Futures Championships, but it would be the Nation’s Capitol Swim Club, out of the Greensboro Futures meet, that would top the overall finishes.
Event 7: Men’s 200 Medley Relay

Greensboro and Madison each saw two top-four teams in the men’s 200 medley relay. Nation’s Capital Swim Club bookended the top 8 with their ‘A’ squad finish with a top overall time of 1:41.60.

In a distance battle that was separated by just over eight seconds between 1st-8th, it would be Kathryn McCarthy taking the overall top time in 8:41.26. McCarthy was the only Madison Futures representative in the top eight of the event.

Levi Sandidge left no doubt with his 15:16.02 finish in the 1500 free in Greensboro. Finishing over 20 seconds ahead of the next fastest finisher, Elijah Rolfsen (15:37.60) in Madison.
Event 11: Women’s 200 Freestyle Relay

As the only women’s 200 free relay under 1:44, the TAC Titans (1:43.76) took the win in Greensboro, finishing .81 seconds ahead of Laker Swim in Ocala, to finish as the top performer in the event.
