Commit Swimming Adds More Control Over Which Times Can Be Used for Meet Entries
Commit Swimming now gives coaches more control over which meet results can be used when creating future meet entries. With meet tags and new entry rules, you can easily include—or exclude—times based on where they were achieved.
What’s New with Meet Entry Rules
1. Tag Your Meet Results
Coaches can now add custom tags to meets within Commit and easily edit, add, or remove them as needed.
Tags can help separate results from different types of competitions, such as YMCA, high school, sanctioned, or non-sanctioned meets.
2. Control Which Times Are Eligible
When setting up a meet, coaches can use entry rules to limit eligible times to specific meet tags.
For example, if a meet only allows qualifying times achieved at certain sanctioned competitions, Commit can automatically filter out times from meets that don’t meet those requirements.
3. Keep Meet Entries Accurate
Instead of manually checking where each swimmer’s time came from, coaches can set the appropriate rules and let Commit filter the available times during the entry process.
