A’ja Wilson exuded major confidence as the reigning MVP returned to the court for the Las Vegas Aces and Golden State Valkyries showdown on Sunday.
The WNBA superstar went on a brief hiatus after she sustained a sprain on her right wrist during the team’s matchup against the New York Liberty on July 8.
The Aces managed to bounce back, and the center did not disappoint fans as the team secured a 104-102 victory.
On top of that, she made WNBA history by scoring 34 points, grabbing 16 rebounds and blocking two shots in a game while shooting at least 70 percent from the floor. This was her 27th 30-point game, tying Lauren Jackson for 4th-most all-time.
However, behind her record-breaking performance, the 28-year-old did not impress someone very special to her.
