A WIMBLEDON star funded by Novak Djokovic collapsed to the floor in agony after a horror fall at SW19.
And he was forced to retire in shocking scenes.
Hamad Medjedovic faced Sebastian Ofner in the first round at Wimbledon.
But he had to pull out midway through the second set.
Medjedovic, 21, took the horrible slip at the back of Court 8 at a crucial point of the first-set tie-break.
The Serbian had set point at 8-7 but his legs gave way.
He tried to split-step to change direction but ended up doing the splits.
His racquet flew out of his hand as the world No68 writhed around.
The umpire ran down from his chair to check on Medjedovic and called the physio – while a ball girl gave him shade with an umbrella.
Ofner also came around the net as the cameras cut to Medjedovic’s team who looked concerned.
After a 15-minute delay as the physio treated him, Medjedovic incredibly decided to carry on.
He lost the next two points to drop the first set and then carried on for another half an hour.
But trailing 3-1 in the second set, he eventually decided to withdraw, shaking hands with his opponent.
