(KRON) – Crews are battling a 50-acre fire near Mission and Andrade roads in Sunol, said Cal Fire.
The flames, named the Mission Fire, began at 1:33 p.m. on Monday. Cal Fire and the Alameda County Fire Department have responded to the blaze.
“Firefighters are working hard to contain this fast moving fire,” Cal Fire posted on its X account.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation, according to Cal Fire.
