ROCHESTER, N.Y. — On Wednesday, before 6 p.m., Rochester police officers responded to Sterling Street for a report of two people bitten by a dog.
When officers got to the scene, they learned that the dog bit two 45-year-olds; one person with bit in the leg, the other in the arm.
The two victims, both men, were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital; they were later treated and released, police added.
The dog was put in a bedroom by the owner and a neighbor before police arrived, police reported.
Animal Control was requested to follow up with the dog owner and neighbors.
