Lollapalooza ticketholders will have a new drink option when the festival gets underway next week.
The four-day festival has partnered with Señorita, the THC beverage brand from Rolling Meadows-based RYTHM Inc., to offer THC-infused beverages at the event for the first time. THC-infused Mango Margaritas and Lime Jalapeño Margaritas will be available at select elect GA Cocktail, GA+ and VIP bars throughout Grant Park, according to a company news release.
Each 12-ounce can of Señorita contains 5 milligrams of hemp-derived THC, offering a nonalcoholic take on the margarita. Created by award-winning winemakers Joel Gott and Charles Bieler, the drink uses organic blue agave, real fruit juice and Himalayan pink salt.
Señorita made history earlier this year when it became the first THC drink available at a major U.S. arena with its debut at the United Center.
