A 24-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the face during an altercation with another man in a Northwest Side Chicago neighborhood, police said.
According to police, two men were in a verbal and physical altercation around 11:15 p.m. Monday in the 6000 block of North Harlem Avenue in Norwood Park.
During the altercation, one of the men pulled out a knife and attacked the other.
The 24-year-old suffered puncture wounds to the face and was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, where he later died.
The other man involved in the altercation was taken into custody at the scene and a knife was recovered, police said.
Charges were pending as of Tuesday morning.
