Friday will be a special day for nearly 55 award-winning young inventors throughout Ohio, as they’ll be showcasing their inventions in the Ohio Statehouse Atrium.
The presentation is part of National Kid Inventors’ Day celebrations, which are organized by Ohio Invention League (OIL), an affiliate program of Invention Convention Worldwide (ICW).
Three ninth-grade students from Niles are a part of the showcase, showing off their invention, Flock Lock.
The young inventors — many of whom will be competing at Invention Convention U.S. Nationals 2026 in June — will showcase their inventions during the event from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
