The charges against Barber include trafficking marijuana, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and he was booked into Tallapoosa County Jail on Monday.
Barber joined Auburn as a 3-star prospect and in-state recruit during the 2024 recruiting class. He was the 31st overall player from Alabama for the cycle, and he made his collegiate debut against Alabama A&M.
We will see how Hugh Freeze and Auburn handle the situation, but it is another disappointing moment in a rough offseason for the Tigers.
