Lattakia, SANA- Swimming, badminton and athletics competitions in the first round of “Wounded of the Homeland” Games held at al-Assad Sports City in Lattakia were concluded on Sunday. In the swimming competition, Omar Ammar Daoud from Iraq won the first place in the 50-meter freestyle race, followed by Muhammad al-Jafal from Syria, then Mustafa Tawfiq from Iraq. While Ahmed Qassem from Iraq won the first place in the 25-meter breast style race, followed by Zaher Qaiser from Syria and Mustafa Tawfiq from Iraq.
