Firefighters pulled a small dog from a house fire Tuesday and revived it with oxygen, Ukiah Valley Fire Authority Battalion Chief Eric Singleton reported. “When they first found it lying in a bedroom, it was limp and lethargic,” said Singleton, explaining that crews carried the animal out and administered oxygen using a mask designed for an infant that they cupped with their hands. “We just improvised with what we had.” Singleton said a Community Services Officer with the Ukiah Police Department then transported the dog to a local veterinarian, and “I just heard from the dog’s owner that it will be OK.” He described the firefighter who carried it out, Battalion Chief Mike Maynard, as a “dog
