HENRIETTA, N.Y. — A clothing closet in Henrietta is being recognized by a major pharmaceutical company.
Novo Nordisk, the company that makes popular GLP-1 medications Ozempic and Wegovy, has chosen Cody’s Closet for its annual give-back day. Starting at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, the company will donate large amounts of clothing and shoes for Cody’s Closet to give away for free.
“We’re ready to accept and to pay it forward to the community members that are in need, primarily targeting displaced and recently struggling families,” said Tarra Chimino, founder of Cody’s Closet.
Cody’s Closet offers free clothes for all ages and sizes. The organization focuses on helping those leaving incarceration or struggling with addiction.
