Wilma Hultberg Kullberg and Sierrah Broadbelt have announced their commitments to continue their academic and athletic careers at Alabama beginning in fall 2027. Kullberg arrives from Sweden while Broadbelt arrives from the Cayman Islands.
Wilma Hultberg Kullberg
Kullberg swam at the Bergen Swim Festival in April and was highlighted by a win in the 1500 free as she touched in a 17:27.81. She also was 5th in the 800 free (9:11.56) and 6th in the 200 free (2:03.38).

Kullberg’s best LCM Times (With SCY Conversions) Are:
1500/1650 free: 16:59.67 (16:39.67) 400/500 free: 4:21.61 (4:53.12) 200 free: 2:03.38 (1:48.27)Based on her best converted times, Kullberg would have been 22nd in the 1650 free at SECs this past season. Mackenzie Brandt was the team’s highest finisher at SECs with a 16:12.50 for 7th.
Sierrah Broadbelt
Broadbelt represented the Cayman Islands at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. She made semifinals of the 100 fly with a 1:02.42 for 16th. Her highest finish came in the 200 back where she was 14th in a 2:22.57.

Broadbelts’s best LCM Times (With SCY Conversions) Are:
200 fly: 2:14.27 (1:58.44) 100 fly: 1:02.11 (54.69)Based on her best converted times, Broadbelts would already make the SEC ‘C’ final of the 200 fly. The team had two ‘B’ finalists and one ‘C’ finalists in the event this past season, led by Gaby Van Brunt who was 9th in a 1:55.20.
The Alabama women finished 4th out of 13 teams at the 2026 SEC Championships with 689 points. Emily Jones led the team with 80 individual points. The team went on to finish 11th at the 2026 NCAA Championships with 100.5 points.
