ROCHESTER, N.Y. — An 18-year-old is charged with criminal possession of a weapon after Rochester Police say they found him riding an electric scooter with a handgun.
Officers say they stopped the rider just after 1 a.m. on Wednesday at the corner of State and Brown streets over traffic violations. According to RPD, officers found a loaded semi-automatic handgun on him.
He was taken to the Monroe County Jail. News10NBC saw several RPD cruisers investigating at the scene.
