The league didn’t waste any time in making an announcement about next year’s game, and it’ll be the Chicago Cubs heading back to the site of the Little League World Series for the second time, facing the the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Cubs last played in the Little League Classic back in 2019 against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The game and the pageantry will be great, I’m sure, but can I toss an idea? Cubs versus the Little League World Series Champions. Winner gets an automatic pass to the MLB World Series. That’s a win-win situation, you know? Sure, we might have to wrap all the kids up in seventeen layers of protective gear for their safety, but I think they’d be thrilled for a chance to pitch to Pete Crow-Armstrong or take some swings off of Justin Steele.
