Announced during this year's annual song contest, the competition is launching a brand new Asian edition, with the inaugural show set to crown the continent's first champion in Bangkok, Thailand.
Promised to be "louder, bolder and bigger than ever", the contest follows the familiar Eurovision format, with participating nations holding national selection shows to choose the act that will represent them on the Grand Final stage.

Eurovision Song Contest Asia will take place on Saturday 14 November 2026, held at a venue in Bangkok as Thailand becomes the first ever host country.
Consisting of one show, the results will be decided by a 50/50 split of professional jury voting and public voting.

Where can I watch Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026?
The contest will be broadcast in partnership with Thailand's Channel 3, with broadcasters from 11 countries across Asia confirmed so far. The national selection shows are being streamed on the Eurovision YouTube channel, where the wider journey to Bangkok can also be followed.
At the time of reporting, it is unconfirmed whether UK audiences will be able to watch the Grand Final live on the BBC or another broadcaster.
