Tonight, former Cubs prospect Cam Smith hit his third home run of the season, bringing his early-year slash line up to .286/.405/.571 (179 wRC+). I know he started equally hot last year before cooling down, but doing it again this season, now that the book is out on him, is certainly impressive. Especially at age barely-23.
