Ella Langley just made history as she earned her first No. 1 hit on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 with her song “Choosin’ Texas.”
The groovy country tune, which Langley wrote with Grammy winner Miranda Lambert, as well as JoyBeth Taylor and Luke Dick, soared to the chart’s pinnacle, and in the process, Langley became the first woman to have her song top Billboard‘s Hot 100, Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts simultaneously. The only other songs that have managed the feat are Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help” (feat. Morgan Wallen), Shaboozey’s “Tipsy (A Bar Song)” and Wallen’s “Last Night.”
