Legendary Crooner Paul Anka Has Some Wild Claims About How Well-Endowed Close Friend Frank Sinatra Was

Iconic singer Paul Anka has no qualms about revealing the personal details of his close friend, Frank Sinatra.

The crooner, 84, who is known for tunes like “You Are My Destiny,” “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” and “(You’re) Having My Baby,” sat down for a recent interview and dropped plenty of secrets about how well-endowed his friend Sinatra was. Anka, who wrote the English lyrics to Sinatra's hit "My Way," caught a few glances of Sinatra's goods while the gang hung out with The Rat Pack in Vegas in the saunas.

“Yeah, it was huge,” Anka told Page Six, adding, “I don’t know what that does for you!”

“I had trouble with eye contact,” Anka continued, noting that if there was one star that Sinatra had nothing on, it was Milton Berle.

“Crazy, of all people,” Anka noted. “Milton Berle!”

One lesser-known fact about Anka is that he’s the father-in-law of beloved Hollywood actor and director Jason Bateman. Bateman, who rose to stardom as a child actor on shows like Little House on the Prairie and Silver Spoons, found tremendous success as an adult on Arrested Development. He then went on to become a powerhouse director with projects like Ozark and Black Rabbit. However, he’s also the husband of Amanda Anka, the daughter of Paul.

Paul’s a big fan of his son-in-law, tellingET Canada in 2011 that Bateman is “a very smart boy, a wonderful guy for my daughter.”

He Never Gets Tired of Performing

While Anka’s been in the music business since he was a teenager, he never gets sick of performing his hits. In a 2015 interview with Business Jet Traveler, he revealed that he hadn’t yet tired of the performing life.

“I don’t get rid of songs because I am sick of singing them or I am older. All over the world, these songs mean something special to my audiences. I have to respect the audience. I don’t retire a song but I often change the arrangement to keep it fresh. But when a crowd is applauding, yelling, and singing the lyrics, you can’t help getting right into it.”

After years in the business, Anka has also found great success financially, running various businesses. But he also understands how important it is to surround yourself with people who build you up, rather than tear you down.

“Admit your limitations and surround yourself with smart people. You don’t want to be the smartest guy in the room all the time,” he shared.
