Nov. 21-22, 2025 Chattanooga, Tennessee SCY (25 yards) ResultsTwo high school programs in Kentucky with lengthy state championship- winning streaks prevailed at a prestigious early-season meet in Tennessee.
Both the Sacred Heart girls (13 straight state titles) and the St. Xavier boys (37 consecutive championships) won the team titles at the 32nd annual McCallie Invitational, a meet hosted by McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee that brings together elite high school programs from Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia.
Girls’ Recap
The top individual was Sacred Heart senior Charlotte Crush, a Tennessee commit who set pool and meet records in two events.
First, Crush won the 100 free in a time of 47.87, which was just two one-hundredths off her personal best set in December of last year. The swim also ranks her 5th this season in the girls’ 17-18 age group (and 1st among 17-year-olds).
Later, Crush won the 100 back in a season-best time of 50.35, ranking her 1st in the 17-18 age group this season. Her PB of 49.46, set last December, stands as the girls’ 15-16 NAG record and is equal to the 17-18 record held by Claire Curzan.
Crush also swam on winning teams in the 200 medley and 400 free relays.
In the 200 medley relay, the Sacred Heart quartet of Ava Grazziana (26.30), Sydney Green (29.82), Crush (22.83), and Madeline Peyton (24.97) won in a time of 1:43.92.
In the 400 free relay, the squad of Grazziani, Anna Thorp, Green and Crush came out on top in a time of 3:28.22.
The 200 free relay was won by Ensworth in a time of 1:38.48.
Other individual winners were:
Midtown junior Sarah Paisley Owen, a Notre Dame commit, won the 200 free in a personal best time of 1:47.52 to set a meet and pool record. Dobyns Bennett senior Evie Dellinger, an Air Force commit, captured the 200 IM in 2:04.19. Decker Stedman, a sophomore from Lowell, was first in the 50 free with a personal best time of 23.29. Susie Kang, a sophomore from North Gwinnett, won 1-meter diving with 262.5 points. Westminster junior Greta Myers, who has committed to Princeton, took the 100 fly in 54.00. Clare Herfel, a sophomore from Notre Dame Academy, topped the field in the 500 free in a time of 4:53.29. There were three individuals who won multiple events, Westminster junior Connor Christopherson, Ensworth senior Quincy Topping and McCallie junior Collin Holgerson.
Christopherson, a Stanford commit, won the 200 free in 1:38.64 and was first in the 500 free with a time of 4:33.76.
Topping was the best in the sprint freestyle events, winning the 50 free in 20.32 and the 100 free in 45.21.
Holgerson, a Tennessee commit, set a meet, pool and school record in the 200 IM with a personal best time of 1:44.44, which was nearly two seconds better than his previous personal best (1:46.13) set at this past February’s Tennessee state championships.
Later, Holgerson won the 100 fly in a meet and pool record time of 47.63.
Holgerson was also a part of two winning relay teams for McCallie.
In the 200 medley relay, the squad of Holgerson (21.15), Aaron Colthurst (25.76), Zach-Andre Johnson (22.62) and Jaden Mills (20.59) won in 1:30.12.
Later in the 200 free relay, McCalie’s team of Mills (20.77), Ocean Gorecki (20.85), Grant Goins (20.69) and Holgerson (20.02) set a new meet and pool record with a time of 1:22.33.
The 400 free relay was won by St. Xavier’s quartet of Blaise Harrison (46.80), Peyton Harrison (45.70), Ryan King (46.88) and David Hohlstead (45.64) in 3:05.02.
Other individual winners were:
Miles Gravitt, a senior from North Gwinnett, won 1-meter diving with 28.275 points. St. Xavier junior Boone Wilcox, a Michigan commit, captured the 100 back in a personal best time of 49.72. St. Xavier sophomore Wilson York was 1st in the 100 breast in a season-best time of 54.49, ranking him 2nd this season in the boys’ 15-16 age group.
