Didn’t really have a shorthanded Bulls team beating the Nuggets in Denver on my bingo card, but hey, I’ll take it! Billy Donovan’s bench was unreal, outscoring Denver’s 66-9 on the nigh,t which ultimately decided the game. Of course, that means the starters were outscored heavily, but hey, it worked! Coby White will reinsert into the rotation tonight after missing Monday’s game. He was really good in Utah; hopefully, he looks similar tonight after playing a heavier amount of minutes than expected last time out. Ayo Dosunmu was awesome on Monday. The whole bench was, as mentioned above, but Ayo really stood out with 21 points in 26 minutes. He’s just so good on the second unit, and tonight against a team like Portland that isn’t all that deep, he should be able to have another solid performance. I’d have to imagine what he’s done this season so far has him in the running for Sixth Man of the Year. Speaking of Portland not being deep, they’ll also be really shorthanded in this one. Jrue Holiday are Shaedon Sharpe are both out, as are Robert Williams, Blake Wesley, and Scoot Henderson. Given what Portland’s lineup looks like tonight, this really should be a win for Chicago.Injury Report
