The 5th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs are No. 7 according to Kanell after a 24-20 victory over Florida. No. 7 Ole Miss is actually No. 8 according to Kanell after downing South Carolina 30-14. No. 13 Texas Tech downed Kansas State 43-20 to earn the No. 9 spot on Kanell’s list, with No. 15 Virginia at 10th according to Kanell after upending Cal 31-21.
No. 16 Louisville is No. 11 on Kanell’s list after taking down Virginia Tech 28-16, and No. 18 Oklahoma moves up to No. 12 according to Kanell after defeating No. 14 Tennessee 33-27.
