Everton have made their feelings known about Jack Grealish’s omission from the latest England squad.
The Toffees playmaker was once again overlooked by Thomas Tuchel for the Three Lions‘ upcoming internationals against Wales and Latvia.
Since joining on loan from Manchester City, Grealish has made a strong start to life on Merseyside, registering four assists in six Premier League games.
But this hasn’t been enough to convince Tuchel of his value, with the winger yet to earn a call-up under the German.
Grealish‘s last England appearance came in October 2024, when Lee Carsley was in temporary charge of the team.
The Englishman struggled for game time and consistency at City, but has since revived his career at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
How did Everton react to the England squad?
It’s fair to say Grealish’s current employers were less than impressed to see his club form go unrewarded, as they gave a telling reaction on social media.
Shortly after the England squad was announced, Everton‘s official X account reposted a previous tweet of theirs about the forward.
On Wednesday, the Toffees shared a graphic of the most chances created in the Premier League this season, with Grealish leading the way on 17.
And they were quick to reiterate this message after the forward’s omission from the national team, immediately resharing the post.
So far, Grealish leads Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes in this category, who has carved out 16 chances.
He also sits ahead of teammate Kiernan Dewbury-Hall, with the summer signing creating 13 goalscoring opportunities.

Thomas Tuchel has now left Grealish out ofGettyWhat did Thomas Tuchel say about Grealish?
Everton’s apparent reaction to Grealish missing out on an England call-up was reflected in Tuchel’s latest press conference.
As well as Grealish, leading midfielders Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden were also left out of the Three Lions squad.
And the England manager was forced to admit he had no issues with any of the trio when asked about his decisions during his media duties on Friday.
Tuchel said: “There is no problem [between me and Bellingham].
“There is also no problem between me and Jack Grealish and me and Phil Foden.”
On Grealish, the ex-Chelsea boss added: “Jack is very close to be the best version of himself, a very special player, a very special character.”
Grealish has started all but one of Everton’s league games so far this seasonGettyGrealish has appeared rejuvenated since completing his loan move to Everton in the summer, having been largely limited to a bit-part role towards the end of his time at Man City.
The 30-year-old made just seven Premier League starts last term and didn’t feature in their defeat to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final.
And the England squad announcement came just days after Grealish admitted he didn’t always give himself the best chance at the Etihad.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Grealish said: “People go, ‘He likes to go out, he likes to party’, and I do.
“I want to be able to live my life and enjoy myself but obviously there’s a time and a place to do that.
“Sometimes, I’ll be honest with you, I probably haven’t picked the right times.
Grealish has credited Everton manager David Moyes with helping him to rediscover his best formGetty“At City, I didn’t help myself at times, I’ll openly say that, but then I don’t think it was all down to that.”
Now at Everton, Grealish certainly looks to be thriving once again.
He assisted two goals in each of his first two Premier League starts for the Toffees in wins over Brighton and Wolves.
The winger’s impressive start even saw him receive the Premier League Player of the Month award for August.
