The young NFL season’s biggest upset took place in Northeast Ohio..
The Cleveland Browns pulled off an improbable 13-10 victory over the Green Bay Packers in front of the home crowd, despite the play of 40-year-old Joe Flacco.
In the third quarter, the Dawg Pound had enough of Flacco and rained down boos after he threw a ball into the dirt.
Flacco finished the day going 21-36 for 141 yards and one interception, but it was Cleveland’s defense that paved the way for the massive upset.
Brad Stainbrook reported earlier this week that head coach Kevin Stefanski and offensive coordinator Tommy Rees considered starting rookie Dillon Gabriel, but ultimately decided to stick with Flacco for another week.
