Charlie Kirk supporters have set their sights on Starbucks and they’re petitioning the coffee chain to change their menu in honor of the slain conservative political activist.
The “Get Charlie Kirk's Starbucks Order On Every Starbucks Menu” campaign was created on Change.org on Sunday, September 14.
“To honor Charlie Kirk’s legacy as a man of God, a man of discussion, a man of integrity, and a man of family,” the description for the campaign reads. “I and those who join me in signing this petition ask Starbucks to put Charlie Kirk’s order on their menus with the name ‘Kirk Special’ or ‘The Charlie Kirk’ or some other iteration containing his name.”
As for what Kirk ordered? He allegedly stuck to the same drink every time and it was a Mint Majesty Tea with 2 honeys.
At the time of publication, the campaign had already amassed almost 4,000 signatures with the number continuing to climb.
Several people sounded off in the comments in support of the campaign.
“I haven’t been to a Starbucks in years, but I would go to honor him. RIP Charlie,” wrote one person, while another added, “I don’t see Starbucks having enough courage but I would stand by this 100%!!!! Even if it were just temporary.”
A third person chimed in and said, “No one’s freedom of speech should be taken from them in any way, especially in a way so cruel. He was an activist for young people and spoke his opinion respectfully; he deserves to be honored.”
While some supporters alleged that Starbucks refused to print Kirk’s name on orders, the company pushed back on those claims. In a statement issued on Thursday, September 18, Starbucks clarified that there are “no restrictions” on customers using Charlie Kirk’s name for their orders. The chain explained that political slogans are not permitted, but a person’s name, even that of a public figure, is allowed, adding that teams are being reminded of this policy.
The Shooting and Arrest
Kirk was shot and killed at the age of 31 during the first stop on his American Comeback Tour at Utah Valley University on September 10. Videos of the assassination surfaced on social media and showed the dad of two speaking to a large crowd before being jolted back after a shot rang out. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Tyler James Robinson, a 22-year-old from Washington County, Utah, was arrested 33 hours after Kirk’s death and taken into custody. Prosecutors have charged him with aggravated murder among several other felonies, including obstruction of justice, witness tampering and discharging a firearm.
