DENVER (KDVR) — An investigation is underway after one person was hospitalized Wednesday morning after a shooting just a few blocks away from Coors Field in downtown Denver.
Just before 6:30 a.m., the Denver Police Department posted on social media about a shooting in the area of 21st Street and Larimer Street. This is on the edge of the Five Points neighborhood, about two blocks from Coors Field.
Police said a victim was sent to the hospital with "what appear to be" non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, it's unclear who else was involved.
Police are working on developing information about the suspect.
