Everyone has a pregame ritual, but Josh Allen and a few of his teammates may take the cake in terms of nastiness.

The reigning NFL MVP went into full detail on his unusual habit in a chat with Fox Sports’ Charissa Thompson.
“I throw up before every game,” Allen revealed to NFL Films. “Just because.”
“Interesting, good for you,” Thompson replied. “That’s not nerves, because I know you’re not nervous.”
“It’s not nerves, it’s really weird,” Allen continued. “I think going back to college, when I played I’d always have this mucus.
“I threw up before the Detroit game two years ago, preseason. Throughout the game I didn’t have any mucus so I was like, I might have to start doing that.
“So after every pregame warmup, I go inside and my teammates will watch me and they’ll cheer me on and sometimes I throw up.”
“This is the greatest thing I’ve heard, ever,” Thompson interrupted in awe. “Your teammates will cheer you on when you’re throwing up?
“Yeah, ‘Get it out Josh. Get the demons out,'” Allen said. “I got a couple other guys that throw up as well.”
It’s a total team effort in Buffalo, and that includes the ritual of vomit.
The Bills are this year’s Hard Knocks’ darling, and there’s no telling what the rest of the world is about to find out. This may just be the tip of the iceberg.

Mark Schlereth, former offensive lineman and three-time Super Bowl champion summed it up perfectly in a book titled NFL Unplugged, recalling his days in the locker room.
“Somebody, usually myself or Tommy Nalen, would start heaving and it would be a chain reaction,” Schlereth said. “Next thing you know, four or five guys are puking over the trash can.”
The Bills won’t care what Allen does before games to get ready. As long as he is playing at the MVP-level he has the last few seasons, they will be just fine.
