The Greeley Police Department is looking into threats made against Greeley West High School, and the school has an increased police presence Tuesday.
Greeley-Evans School District 6 does not believe the threats are credible, based on interviews and investigations into the threat, according to District 6 Chief of Communications Theresa Myers.
Greeley West school administrators, the Greeley-Evans School District 6 safety and security team and the Greeley police have investigated the credibility of threats made to the school, which were circulated social media, according to a Greeley Police Department Facebook post on Tuesday.
Police said they are taking the report seriously and investigating the matter with urgency.
