The Philadelphia Eagles practiced on Thursday ahead of their game with the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.
The big injury news out of Philly this week is tight end Dallas Goedert, who is dealing with a sprained MCL suffered in the Eagles’ Week 2 victory over the Titans. Goedert will not play this week (or beyond), and they have brought back a franchise legend in veteran tight end Zach Ertz, who practiced Thursday.
Running back Saquon Barkley also exited the Titans game last weekend early and is dealing with a stinger. He practiced in some fashion Thursday and wants to play against the Bears this week. The next two days will tell.
Wide receiver DeVonta Smith and running back Tank Bigsby were at practice but did not participate. The official injury report hasn’t been released yet, so we’ll provide more information when we have it.
Here’s the Chicago Bears’ first injury report of the week ahead of Monday’s contest.
