Aryna Sabalenka stepped in to help a fan as her Wimbledon semi-final was suspended due to a medical emergency.
In the opening set of Sabalenka’s match against Amanda Anisimova, play was halted on Centre Court.
Sabalenka was seen looking over towards the crowd and rushing over to pick up an ice pack and a bottle of water.
The World No.1 then walked over the court to pass them over to help aid the struggling fan in the stands.
It is understood the spectator was struggling with the intense heat as SW19 baked in temperatures reaching 31 degrees Celsius.
Tennis reporter Jess Anderson said: “They are sitting on one side of the court which is absolutely bathed in sun, there’s really no escaping it when you’re sitting in those seats.”
The umpire could be seen radioing in the issue before telling the players ‘we will wait’ and stopping play.
Anisimova was leading 3-2 in the first set, with Sabalenka serving when the fan was spotted by players and others around the court.
The Belarusian was clapped and cheered by those in the stands after she made the classy gesture of taking her water and ice over.
An umbrella was then taken to the fan to help provide some shade, while both players then sat down for a short period.
Play resumed a few moments later and the first set continued, with Anisimova going on to take the lead, winning it 6-4.
A second fan near the front row on Centre Court was then later reported to be receiving some help in a similar situation.

Alcaraz offered his water bottle to the supporter as his game against Fabio Fognini was paused for around 15 minutes.
Stewards and medics were seen tending to a spectator who seemed to take a turn.
The crowd on that day also applauded as Alcaraz and co. jumped into action to help the struggling fan.
Similarly to Thursday’s semi-finals, that first round match was played in extremely hot conditions.
Air temperature at the All England Club on June 30 reached 32.3 degrees Celsius to make it the hottest opening day in history.
