JASPER, N.Y. – A 34-year-old man from Steuben County is facing charges after deputies say he exposed himself to children.
Cody Hawley, of Jasper, was charged with public lewdness, filing a false written statement, and endangering the welfare of a child. Hawley was arraigned and released.
Deputies arrested Hawley on Tuesday. Deputies say they got a report of a man standing naked in a window.
It is alleged that Hawley repeatedly stood partially unclothed in front of a window as children walked past and then gave a false written statement regarding his actions.
