Meet local elected officials
The League of Women Voters of Cupertino-Sunnyvale is hosting its annual “Meet and Greet” for local elected officials on March 29, 2-4 p.m. at the Grand Hotel, 865 W. El Camino Real in Sunnyvale. The event is an opportunity for community member to meet city council, school board and county officials and ask them questions, or talk about their interests and concerns in person. VTA oversight
Valley Transportation Authority, or VTA, is looking to fill multiple vacancies on its 2016 Measure B Citizens Oversight Committee. VTA is tasked with distributing millions of dollars in Measure B sales tax for transportation projects throughout Santa Clara County. The committee was established to ensure transparency and accountability in that process.
